Machine Lithographic Printing Apprenticeship – Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Machine Printing (QCF)
We are looking for a keen, reliable, quick learning apprentice to join their workforce as a training machine lithographic printer. You would be learning to print leaflets, brochures, business cards etc… Using ink, chemicals, metal plates and handling large piles of A2 paper.
The qualification attained during the apprenticeship is – Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Machine Printing (QCF). (Level 2 is available if required).
A level 2 will be completed within an 18 month period and a level 3 within a 36 month period.
You will receive on the job training from an experienced team of staff; the NVQ will be assessed by an external provider on site in Rubery. The position is factory based; it is a manual job and does involve heavy lifting.
You will be employed on a full time basis and given allocated time within your working week to complete any coursework for your apprenticeship.
An open day for candidates and parents will be arranged for applying applicants giving candidates the opportunity to consider the profession. Machine Printing is a skilled profession and based on the size of machinery offers a good salary.
You can expect to earn the living wage on completion of your apprenticeship with us. It is desired that the successful candidate will want to continue working for the company for many years after the apprenticeship is completed.
